First time? How to create and send your quote

Enter your business and customer details. Fields marked * are required; all others are optional.
Choose your own reference (for example Q-001). Use a different reference for each quote: this tool does not keep a record of previous numbers. Set the date and how long your offer is valid.
Add a description, quantity and unit price for each item. For 2½ hours at £30 per hour, enter quantity 2.5 and price 30.00. For a whole job, enter quantity 1. Prices are in GBP, before GST.
Choose GST Yes only if your business is registered and every item is subject to standard-rate GST. This simple tool does not mix GST treatments in one quote. No adds no GST; it does not decide your tax status.
Add any payment terms, timescales and exclusions. Check the preview: this is a quote, not an invoice or a GST return.
Click Download PDF. Your browser saves it or opens a PDF preview; on a phone, use its save/share option if needed. Keep a copy. The PDF cannot be loaded back into this form.
Use Print quote for paper. In the print dialog choose A4 and turn off browser headers and footers if they appear.
Enter the customer's email and click Prepare email. Your mail app opens a draft; attach the downloaded PDF yourself, check the sending account, and press Send. If no mail app opens, use the copyable draft below. You can also attach the PDF to WhatsApp yourself.

One row per service or product. Quantity can be units or hours (up to 3 decimal places). Enter prices before GST, using a decimal point, without £ or commas. £0.00 is allowed for a free item.

Up to 100 items. Each line is rounded to the nearest penny before totals are added.

Yes adds 5% to the whole subtotal, rounded to the nearest penny. Use it only for GST-registered businesses quoting entirely standard-rated items. For mixed, exempt or special treatments, use a suitable accounting tool.
